Description
Reading the Raw: EEG for Beginners is a course that is available to all but tailored to the newbies of EEG and QEEG.
Led by Dr. Tiff Thompson, PhD, QEEG-D, R.EEG.T, BCN, MFT.
This class will be $50 per person, per hour, which will total $500 for the ten classes.
The class will be devoted to reading the raw EEG, explaining important terminology and concepts, going over montages and morphology, recognizing artifacts, and addressing all the things that seem to stump beginners. Many different forms of EEG assessment will be used, including Neuroguide, NeuroField, WinEEG, isync, and others.
One aim of this course will be to guide the beginner to understand how the raw data will affect the quantified data. I invite EEG case submission, as it will make the course more fun and will be some off-the-cuff work and interpretation, bit by bit. We will discuss common (and not-so-common) cases, when to refer out, EEG of drowsiness, of infants and children, adults and seniors, and more.
Before each online meeting, we will send you the ZOOM code and password for the session. We invite you to submit your cases to: tiffthompson@gmail.com.
All case studies will be recorded and made available to clinicians who have purchased tickets or who have a Golden Membership.
