Addiction to not only drugs and alcohol, but screens, video games, and pornography is more rampant today than ever, historically. Many clinicians are receiving calls and requests from concerned parents of addicted children and teens, as well as adults suffering from long-standing issues. This two-hour lecture is dedicated to profiling the addictive profiles for drugs (prescription and illicit), alcohol, and obsessive disorders (screens and pornography), and the neurostimulation and neurotherapy protocols necessary to relieve the symptoms.
In this lecture, participants will lean how to:
- Identify the neuroanatomy involved in addictive behaviors
- Understand the neurochemistry that predispositions people towards addictive behaviors
