I am passionate about how the brain works and discovering ways to help people become more successful in their lives, I enjoy working with individuals through the use of psychotherapy, neurofeedback, and neuropsychological testing. I thrive in the neuropsychological evaluation process and in helping people with their strengths and struggles.
Since the beginning of my career, I have been drawn to helping those who’ve experienced trauma. My dedication to neurofeedback came from working with active duty military and seeing the need for alternative ways to address the symptoms they experience from having a “deployed brain.”
My personal experience with my stepdaughter who struggles with autism and developmental disabilities has further fueled my desire to help families find the support they need. In neurofeedback, I’ve discovered a tool that helps people move beyond their perceived limitations and feel more hopeful about their future.
I was fortunate to have neurofeedback as part of my doctoral program and began performing neurofeedback with a Cygnet amplifier. In 2012 I purchased a Deymed amplifier and began learning about QEEG. As I continued on with my career, I began doing LORETA neurofeedback in 2015.
I began learning from Nick and Tiff in the fall of 2017. I have not looked back since. I highly value the morphology of QEEG, which I was never taught when I began artifacting QEEG's. The thing is before I began learning, I wondered why my z-score maps didn't match what I saw in the data. Now I know to look at other portions of the maps along with the raw data and BINGO, I have a much better understanding of what is going on. I began to record ERP's last year and record ERP's on every single patient I work with.
This was a life-changing workshop! You are both such good teachers and presenters and your willingness to try new protocols and techniques and to really work with the nuances of individuals is inspiring. I feel so excited and motivated leaving this workshop. You guys are fabulous!

I have attended several NeuroField courses both basic and advanced. Nick and Tiff are true lifelong learners and continuously seek to improve their analysis and techniques. I always come away enriched, inspired and full of ideas for exploiting this great tech.

The training I have received starting with Nick some 12-15 years ago has been the most challenging and inspiring. Both Nick and Tiff are able to take complex, puzzling and "what the heck is that" information and make it alive, understandable and useable. No small achievement. Your work continues to further our knowledge and skills.

Since it’s inception, Neurofield and now the School of Neurotherapy, has offered trainings that are salient and high caliber. Optimized infrastructure honoring the neurodiversity of how we learn is woven into the theory and skills taught. The School of Neurotherapy is at the top of my list when I want training or need to consult about a clinical impasse.

Training was comprehensive, hands on and very valuable. From basic science to advanced therapy protocols. Not only was I learning but also gaining my trust and respect for my teachers as very passionate clinicians, caring for patients and the future of the field...Let’s not forget that the Neurofield family is very welcoming, caring and FUN.
