Chapter 2: Basic Neuroanatomy and Neurophysiology (4 hours)
This module will cover the fundamental electro-chemical
functioning of EEG, the functional correlates of EEG, ERPs, SCPs, fundamentals
of neuroplasticity, and functional neuroanatomy (including ascending sensory
pathways; thalamic, cortical, and subcortical generators of EEG; general
cortical and subcortical anatomy; major functions of cortical lobes; major
subcortical structures; Brodmann areas) as well as the meaning of metrics (such
as connectivity, phase, and coherence), and EEG networks and tracts.
